Steve Harrington grew up believing his life was normal.

His parents, Melissa and Daniel Harrington, are wealthy supporters of Hawkins Lab and some of the most respected people in town. To them, the lab is just an important research facility doing work that helps the community.

But Steve remembers things that never quite made sense.

Strangers visiting the house at odd hours. Quiet meetings that stopped whenever he walked into the room. And one man who seemed to appear more than anyone else.

Dr. Martin Brenner.

Steve was only seven when Brenner first started visiting. The man always asked strange questions-about Steve's thoughts, his dreams, and whether he had ever noticed unusual things happening around him.

Whenever Steve tried to tell his parents that Brenner made him uncomfortable, they brushed it off.

As the years passed and his parents traveled more for work, Steve began to notice strange gaps in his memories. Days he couldn't fully remember. Headaches he couldn't explain.

When he was nine, he discovered a small mark behind his ear.

His parents insisted it was just a birthmark.

For years, Steve tried to forget the strange parts of his childhood.

But lately, pieces of the past have started coming back.

And the more Steve remembers, the more he begins to wonder if Hawkins Lab was never just something his parents supported.

It might have been something he was part of.
