"She rejected me," Satoru repeated.

Suguru would have laughed and used this to pick on Satoru but for once, this made him unhappy. He turned to him, watching Satoru be his dramatic ass, half of his body sprawled on the ground, pretending to have gone dead. "She rejected you.... Not you rejected her?"

He had to clarify to make sure he heard this right. That seemed to be the CPR pump to bring him to life because he spasmed and kicked his feet like a child, throwing a tantrum. "That's what I'm saying! How can she reject me...ME."

Suguru looked in deadpan at the narcissism Satoru was about to display. "I mean, is she BLIND? I even took off my glass and she looked at me like I was beneath her."

That was very, very likely to be Satoru exaggerating what actually happened, Suguru didn't doubt it for a second.

Satoru rolled his body left and right before his feet fully dropped down to the ground, he twisted and sat on his knees, putting his elbows on the coffee table. "I was NEVER rejected. I was the one doing the rejection. Me. Gojo Staoru. Has she lost her mind? She- she is not even my type!"
