Isabelle's a strong and confident girl, with a fiery spirit. She is very kind and sweet; but she will be crule and cold-blooded if she needs or wants to be. And for some reason she's faster and stronger then half of the Galde. She's also very sensitive.

She came up in the Box a little over a year after the first Gladers. Nobody knows why a girl came up in the Box, and after awhile everyone stops caring.

Isabelle and her friends struggle to find a way out of the Maze; she knows the Maze is a terrifying and dangerous place but she can't help but find it fascinating and exciting while everyone else hates it.

And somehow, she finds herself falling for a certain blond boy.
