Somehow, against all logic and basic geographical fairness, I got dropped into Mystic Falls.
Yes. That Mystic Falls.
The one with vampires, werewolves, ancient curses, emotional trauma, and an alarming number of attractive immortals who refuse to go to therapy.
And out of all the possible people I could have become... I woke up as Elena Gilbert.
Which is honestly ridiculous.
Because the real me? I'm a slightly overweight, slightly insecure, very lazy woman with -4 eyesight, a normal 9-to-5 job, and an unhealthy obsession with The Vampire Diaries... especially a certain blue-eyed Salvatore.
Meanwhile Elena Gilbert is supposed to be stunning, brave, constantly running through forests, getting kidnapped by supernatural creatures, and somehow having two ridiculously hot vampires fighting over her.
I get stressed replying to emails.
So now I'm stuck in Mystic Falls as the main character of a supernatural drama I already know the plot of... with Damon and Stefan Salvatore about to enter my life.
Great.
Fantastic.
The only problem?
I have absolutely no idea why I'm here.
Also... if I'm technically dead in my world, that's tragic.
But if I'm not?
I didn't even serve my notice period.🥲
