Will Solace is a son of Apollo, which means he's a walking ray of sunshine. Nico di Angelo is a son of Hades, which means he's... well, the opposite. They've been "just friends" for months, but Will is ready to be more. He has a plan: say it with flowers. It's romantic, it's classic, and it's totally foolproof.
Except Nico doesn't do "romance." Armed with a 1920s botany guide written by a bitter, lonely child of Hades, Nico misinterprets Will's sunny bouquet as a final "goodbye" to their friendship.
Now, the shadows are fighting back. Between skeletal gardeners, funeral lilies, and a "Message Received" note that's about to break Will's heart, these two "friends" are headed for a disaster of Olympian proportions.
