Beneath The Waves

Vanora finds herself in a difficult position when she meets the one thing she is meant to despise and hate.

Vanora is the heir to the kingdom's throne but a ruthless killer to all mermaid kind. She finds herself fighting on her own ship as Kainda takes over her ship and her crew, once she has full control she throws everyone into the bitter Merrows, including the heir not caring for any sort of punishment that waits beyond for her.

While Vanoras lungs inhale water something almost fish-like with human features swims past her before she slowly lets her passes out.

Zale is the prince of his kingdom, he has his heart on his sleeve and could almost be identical to a golden retriever. Well besides the fact that he is a merman. Zale has escaped many dangerous situations but couldn't escape the memory of his parents dying in front of him.

He has recently found himself saving a drowning a girl while searching for clues in order to find his people which have been abducted by humans. He has trapped this new found human in a cenote to get answers about where his people are located and how to get them.

Vanora plans on using his kind nature and good will and takes it forsaken and uses it against him so then she can kill him and prove herself to her kingdom that she is fit to be queen. But she slowly feels something similar to fondness to this stupid fish. Perhaps she feels more but she wont ever let herself realize that and instead turns into hate.

Zale grows attached to her due to her kindness and understanding about finding his people and slowly falls for the person that could hurt him most.

Will Vanora betray him? Will Zale ever find his people?

Maybe there will be a love story between two people of opposing worlds, or maybe a far darker fate awaits beyond them.
