Diana doesn't know how or why, but she has been cast out from our century and into the Continent of Beasts: a primitive, hostile place ruled by the law of the tribe. Her only tool for survival is modern science, using everything from pepper as a weapon to salt as a bargaining chip.
But in a world where women are a scarce commodity coveted by Trolls, Ogres, and a Witch with a special interest in lineage, Diana quickly becomes a target.
Her only option is to ally herself with Hugo, an imposing and lethally protective Tiger-Orc. Caught between the necessity of survival and an instinct that is beginning to awaken, Diana must decide if she can trust a Beast to protect her from the rest of the world.
