From a death race, to becoming Neo Metal, obtaining super form, and even using the Phantom Ruby, nothing was working. He's ran countless calculations for how to defeat Sonic and and his friends, all ending in his utter defeat at the hands of the blue blur. Even Dr. Eggman was running out of ideas for how Metal could possible stop his nemesis. That was when his younger sibling, Sage, said something intriguing, which lead him to quite possibly the most ambitious idea he could ever conceive. Luckily for him, his creator was on board with the idea. If we couldn't beat him with everything in their reality, then it was time to try something a little more.

While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across.
