Ashley Peterson: is most popular girl (and prettiest) in the ninth grade at Orange County Day Private School. (otherwise know as OCD) She's the alpha, and her betas are Ainslie, Kristen and Stephanie. Nothing can get in the way of Ashley's popularity, right?
Ainslie Roberts: is Ashley's best friend too. She's part of their popular clique, and the third prettiest at OCD. (tied with Stephanie Winston) She's also obsessed with Ralph Lauren.
Stephanie Winston: is poor. The Hive doesn't know, and they didn't know that her and Skye were besties. Steph is gonna be in deep trouble.
Kristen Gregory: is the second most popular girl at OCD. She was voted second prettiest, too. (behind Ashley, of course) She hates being behind Ashley all the time.
Skye Sailor: is the new girl. Moved here from a small town in Texas, so she has no experience in designer clothes or anything like that. Also Ashley's first victim of grade 9. Poor Skye.

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school.
