Two powerful business families arrange a marriage between their heirs to strengthen their corporate partnership. Orm Kornnaphat, the youngest daughter of the Sethratanapong family, was never originally included in the arrangement. Despite this, she has secretly loved Lingling, the heiress of the Kwong family, since they were young. The marriage was initially planned for Orm older sister. However, after her sister's unexpected death in an accident, Orm is required to take her sister place and meet her family's expectations. Being close to Lingling brings both comfort and pain, as Orm enters the relationship as a substitute rather than by choice. Bound by family obligations and emotional restraint, the two maintain a careful distance despite their growing connection. As their relationship develops, they must decide whether their marriage will remain a responsibility imposed upon them or evolve into a genuine bond built on love.

Ling Ling Kwong is a woman defined by her patience-waiting years for a father who never returned from the sea. Orm Sethratanapong is defined by her defenses-built high after her mother's death over a decade ago. When their parents fall in love and decide to merge their lives into one household, these two worlds don't just collide; they shatter. Forced to live under the same roof at the Sethratanapong estate, Ling and Orm turn the mansion into a battlefield. Every breakfast is a debate, every hallway pass is a provocation, and every argument feels like it might end in a physical brawl. They despise everything about one another: Ling finds Orm spoiled and volatile; Orm finds Ling rigid and condescending. But as the days turn into heated nights, the line between anger and adrenaline begins to vanish. The "friction" that causes their constant fighting starts to generate a different kind of heat-one that neither can ignore. In the quiet corners of the house, their insults turn into gasps, and their fights turn into a desperate, explicit hunger.
