This story takes place during the final years of the Joseon Dynasty and the beginning of Japanese colonial rule in Korea - a time filled with war, protests, oppression, and painful changes in people's lives.

In the middle of this chaotic era, two lives from completely different paths slowly cross each other.

Jeon, a fearless fisherman known by the villagers as the Sea Maharasan, grows up alone after the ocean takes away his parents. The sea becomes both his home and his deepest wound. Strong, brave, and respected for his incredible skills in the ocean, he lives a life of solitude far from love.

Taehyung, a mysterious young boy rescued from a deadly accident in the middle of the sea, enters Jeon's life unexpectedly. With nowhere to go and no one left beside him, he begins staying with Jeon - slowly bringing unfamiliar warmth into a life that was once only filled with silence and waves.

But what connection do these two truly share?
Sometimes the ocean that takes everything away can also return something unexpected.
Vintage Heartache is a story about survival, fate, healing, and the quiet love that grows between two broken lives.
