Milo lost more than a home when the world fell apart beneath his paws. Once, he had a kind master; now, all has been surrendered to an infection that shows no mercy-not even to the animals who remain loyal to those they love.
Forced into a landscape of constant war, Milo navigates a battlefield where mechanical beings and Skibidi Toilets tear the world asunder. He never imagined he would find more peace in the harsh desert than in his once-vibrant city home, but fate demands a heavy toll. As a lone dog in a world turned against every living soul, Milo is pushed to his breaking point.
His path is paved with loss and heartbreak that would shatter any spirit, but he is a soldier of another breed-a dog with nothing left to be loyal to but his own survival.
