Kendra Fraykes had no fears. Not of the shadows that would dance in her room, or her neighbors dog that tried to eat her, not even of Director Nick Fury when he was angry. She was so fearless, never fearing the thought of death on missions, that she earned the name Phoenix since she always seems to rise from the toughest situations. She was heading home after one of these missions in the pouring rain when an unexpected visitor drops in on her life from above.
Will Kendra be able to get over her one fear that no one knows about or will a certain Mischievous god show her that even nightmares come true.
