Josephine's life drastically changes after her dad dies. Josephine lives in a trailer park with her mother, Kelly, in California, while her almost step-dad, Mark, lives in Georgia with his daughter and son. Josephine isn't happy with her life since she can't afford any of the schools around her and she doesn't have very many friends. When her mom comes home from her low paying job and tells her that they're moving to Georgia to live with her almost step dad, Josephine knows her life will change for the better and she can start a brand new life.
