Salem always thought some people were meant to stay in your life forever. Ville was one of them.
They grew up together, sharing music, secrets, and a friendship that always felt like it was about to turn into something more. Then right after graduation, he disappeared. No goodbye, no explanation. His number stopped working, his socials were gone, and it was like he erased himself from her life overnight.
Years later, Salem keeps hearing the same voice everywhere. On the radio, in her friends' cars, in a song called Join Me in Death. The voice feels way too familiar, but she can't figure out why.
