Ivan lived an isolated and honestly cursed life since he was young. Nobody wants to be friends with the weird kid that blurts out of pocket nonsense when they get too close. Forced on a trip to Germany with his family for a vacation/archeologist dig, Ivan meets the Greenblooms, a 'weird' family according to his own, but Ivan quickly finds himself attracted to their 'weirdness' as he grows close to their daughter, Guinevere, and their adoptive son, Ben.
But there's something at that dig site. Something that's been waiting centuries to be released. Something that will set everything ablaze in it's festering anger.
Something Ivan saw before anybody else did a week prior.
