​When the ambitious and iron-hearted Lord Malcor arrives to claim Oakhaven's treasures, he seeks to own Elara as a trophy. His greed triggers a catastrophic unraveling. As he attempts to hoard the light, the world begins to fade into a "grey weight"-the sky turns to pewter, the forests to silver, and the hearts of men to ash.
