Tala has a normal life, other than being locked in her room and never aloud to come out unless told to. Even though she is a princess of the pureblood vampires she is treated like a slave, unlike her older brother, Eric. Tala decides to start her life over by running away.....but by running away that means leaving behind her brother and cruel father. But she soon discovers that maybe running away isn't the best choice. She meets her best friend Star, who is different than her. Star is not a pureblood, but another vampire that has blonde hair and red eyes instead of red hair and blue eyes like the pureblood vampires do.  The two kingdoms -pureblood and non pureblood vampires live in fear of each other,  but will they have to unite to defend themselves from a rising enemy?
