Wil's parents were heavily religious and believed if you were queer that it was a straight-ticket to hell. Will and Bran used to believe this, that there was something wrong with them even if they wanted each other so badly, to be each other's so badly. Until the week before summer ended, a week before Will left, the longing became too much to bear.
