When a deal gone wrong injured many, Fischer and Luca met. It was supposed to be a one-time thing, but the thing about a man who can't feel pain was that he didn't know when to stop. The more Fischer began to show up--sometimes injured, sometimes not--the more sparks began to fly, and Luca must decide whether the man who was raised to view himself as disposable was just another patient... or the one person he's willing to risk everything to save.
