By the time I reached my goal, I was a quivering mess of a girl and was just about ready to turn tail and run home. From the looks of things, the section of town I was in had once been huge and glorious. Tiny pieces of stained glass littered the ground at my feet and stone angels with a little gilding still stood in the doorway of the ruined church. As I looked around the husk of a place of worship, I kept hearing something whispering to me, but when I would turn around to look, there would be nothing there.
