Namtan Tipnaree is the nation's favorite actress, but behind the glamour, she is suffocating. One night, the flashing cameras become too much. She packs a single bag, puts her phone on airplane mode, and drives into nowhere... escaping her life with no plan and no destination. Night comes and her car breaks down on a deserted forest road. Just as panic sets in, a rusty pickup truck pulls up. A woman steps out, it was Film, a quiet children's art teacher with a guitar in her backseat and paint on her flannel shirt. "Are you an angel, or did I finally die and crash into a tree?" Namtan's intrusive thoughts win. Film just stares, utterly bewildered. "Last time I checked, I'm pretty sure I'm still alive. And you're definitely not a ghost." Namtan is loud, chaotic, and used to the spotlight while Film is calm, grounded, and fiercely independent. But both share a stubborn streak that refuses to back down. As Namtan hides out in Film's sleepy small town, the lines between her fake world and Film's real one begin to blur. Can a well-known star who runs from her problems finally find her true self?
