Davina Nightingale - Corporate heiress to her father's news company has had her life planned out since she was sixteen. Professionalism? Check. Confident? Check. Keeps business and pleasure separate? Check. Engaged to the son of a local tycoon? Check. Skilled in mechanical repairs? Not so much.

After driving westbound to attend a meeting at a branch company of her father's in his place, Davina gets into a minor car crash that halts her destination and practically becomes stranded in a rural town that specializes in its connections with nature and its local equity.

And the only mechanical shop in town is run by Tristin Dale, a former military sniper who reluctantly comes to the heiress' rescue.

Tristin is all the things Davina had always avoided in life; rugged, dangerous, and too attractive for his own good. Add in the fact that he's constantly working on a steel death trap and has a broad chest marked in both scars and intricate tattoos has Davina craving things she had never allowed herself to before.

It doesn't help that she's going to be stuck in his home town for two weeks for the repairs to her car, since this 'Tin Man' likes to cross invisible boundaries with her and push her to her limits until one dangerous, drunken, passion-filled night causes her to begin questioning everything she's ever wanted for herself until now.
