Elena Charter was a rape victim, kidnapped and kept in her attacker's basement. A mysterious masked man, who she later finds out is called 'Daredevil', was the one to come to her rescue.

After being rescued she finds her way to Nelson & Murdock Law Offices to bring justice to her situation and get rid of the awful man who abused her. Matt is her blind lawyer and she ends up living with him to feel safe.

She continues to have nightmares about being in the man's basement and of her rescuer, a man who she can't forget and seems all too familiar every time she dreams of him. Then she realizes: it's Matt. Daredevil is Matt.

Matt and Elena were already becoming close but once Matt knows that she's discovered his secret, he knows he needs to keep it that way. They start to have strong feelings for each other. But will they be able to have a stable relationship when Elena still fears men and Matt is constantly putting his life on the line?

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
