Lloyd is quiet, distant, and impossible to ignore. The moment their eyes meet, it's clear their connection is more than coincidence, but Lloyd seems determined to stay as far away from her as possible. The closer Y/N gets to him, the more secrets begin to surface. His friends are hiding something. The way Lloyd looks at her is both protective and terrified. And the strange pull between them only grows stronger.

When the truth finally comes out, Y/N learns that Lloyd's world is far more dangerous than she ever imagined-and that loving him might put her directly in the path of that danger.
