Twelve years is a long time to be around the same eight other people. And they say people grow strong bonds over years of friendships. But not all friendships, no matter how long, were built to last lifetimes. Some are meant to end.

Shannon Atwell is the leader of her friends. Don't ask her why, she doesn't even know, she's just good at planning things. And today, they've gathered at her and her brother's house as usual, getting ready for summer vacation. It's the first bonfire of the year. But this get together isn't like ones in the past. Sure, they're all laughing and eating pizza and hugging each other. But that's for show. The real show is the game they'll start playing. The game that will set everything into motion.

In this fiction novel, 9 teens face the questions that have been hovering over them since they can remember. Are secrets safe in a group? Are they worth killing yourself over? Or really, are they worth killing you?
