After the Breakups

After a month, everything between them felt real.

Hindi na lang siya late-night drinks, random hangouts, or conversations that lasted until sunrise. Somewhere between those thirty days, they both started feeling something deeper.

Something dangerous.

One quiet night, habang magkasama sila sa kotse after another long drive, she finally said the words she'd been holding back.

"Natatakot ako."

He looked at her, confused. "Sa'kin?"

She shook her head slowly. "Sa lahat."
