Guided by a mysterious Traveler and a fierce elven warrior named Leneyla, Max must navigate a world of magic and machinery. He soon realizes that his arrival wasn't an accident-his life is tied to the very elf whose place he took.

To earn his ticket back to his family in the real world, Max must first save a world he never knew existed. But as the lines between reality and the Net begin to blur, he faces the ultimate question: If he wins, is he ready to leave the life-and the girl-he's grown to love?
