This is an English fan-translation of the Chinese Novel《哑舍》by Xuan Se (玄色) • NO RE-TRANSLATIONS: To preserve historical and mythological accuracy, please DO NOT translate this English version into other languages. • USE RAWS ONLY: If you translate from the original Chinese, ensure you have the proper historical/mythological resources to keep the their history and mythology accurate. • WARNING: China doesn't mess around with their 5000-year history. In a busy and bustling city, history is soundlessly scattered throughout. Those legends that speak of rare treasures, lost in the flowing river of time. At this place, in this time, they are here-in an antique shop named "Ya She" The novel's story is about the Ya She antique shop's owner who has a special ability to talk to antique items. Souls have slumbered in these items for millennia, and with the shop owner's help, those with past regrets reconnect with humans, fulfill long-cherished wishes, and trust those who cannot trust themselves. As the stories unfold one by one, they illuminate the bond between this serene, mysterious shop owner and a kind-hearted male doctor over the years. (Translator note: Updates will be extremely slow as I wanted to translate the story as closely to the historical records as possible. Thus, some intense research will be conducted on each chapter to ensure accuracy and to respect the integrity of China's history. Each chapter's formatting might be slightly different to match the author's writing, as well as to adhere to each official English translation of China's historical records. The same goes to their mythology.)

After transmigrating into a 1990s-era novel as nothing more than a disposable side character, Lin Xiyue expected a quiet, forgettable life. Instead, she was dragged back to the city with her mother - only to be rejected by her so-called relatives, who wanted nothing to do with them. Fine. If they wouldn't take her in, she'd make her own way. With a bit of shameless persistence (and a lot of dramatic flair), Lin Xiyue successfully pushed her mother into remarrying her first love - a widower raising a young son on his own. And the moment she heard the boy's name- Lin Xiyue froze. Wait a second. Had she just... latched onto the male lead?! A gentle, refined male lead, no less - the kind who was supposed to revolve around the heroine, not her. So why- Why was he constantly sticking to her side? Why was someone known for being warm and mild suddenly so overbearing? And why did this so-called "gentle male lead" start locking her in the house?! Hold on. Something is very wrong here. Just what kind of monster is hiding inside that "gentle" shell? - Lin Xiyue: I've secured the male lead's backing - my future is guaranteed! Hehe~ He Mingchu: Picked up a little pet and brought her home... this should be fun. Heh. - Lin Xiyue: Wait... you're saying the original male lead has already been replaced... and this one is actually a yandere?! ...Am I still going to survive this?! He Mingchu: Hm? You're saying I didn't transmigrate - I entered a novel? ...Doesn't matter. With my little pet around, life is still quite entertaining.
