In a Scotland hidden from the world due to its magical nature, here is Aileen, a clumsy witch who doesn't know how to use her powers without causing accidents, but who, out of necessity, keeps trying. In a France ravaged by the Poisoned Flower, a virus that chemically alters the brain's structure to spread hatred, anger, and disgust, here is Isaac, a poet tortured by his passion for myths and legends, stubborn, a perfectionist, and a soldier by force since the disease's emergence, with no choice but to defend his country from the rest of the world and is about to receive a letter. A letter that might forever change the fate that was meant for him.
