Akriti's Light

Set in the vibrant yet conservative backdrop of the 1990s, Akriti's Light tells the story of Abhay Thakur, a young man returning from abroad after completing his studies. When his father's legacy leads the villagers to make him their sarpanch, Abhay finds himself caught between tradition and transformation.
At the village fair, he spots Akriti Verma, a shy and innocent young woman, and falls in love at first sight. Though Akriti hardly knows him, his mother arranges their marriage, and he steps into a union that binds hearts and destinies.
But Abhay's mission extends beyond love-he despises the orthodox, misogynistic mindset of the villagers and sets out to challenge it.
