The House That Waits

After fleeing into the forest and injuring his ankle, Theodore takes refuge in an isolated house that shouldn't exist - a house that seems frozen in time.
Its only occupant is Lucien, a man whose calm presence feels both comforting and unsettling. As Theodore recovers, the house slowly begins to change. Rooms repair themselves. Objects appear where they shouldn't. And memories Theodore doesn't recognize start surfacing in his dreams.
Lucien has lived in the house for centuries.
And Theodore has been here before.
