Things have changed. It's 2026, and Cereza is all grown up. She's living in a constant cycle: studying at university, going home, working, and repeating it all over again. The world is becoming uglier-rumors of wars, whispers that Jesus is coming back, and corrupt presidents keeping the people poor. It's a cycle that never seems to get better.

Until one day, a small creature begins to grow deep inside a cave in the mountains. Slowly but surely, it grows larger. And the bigger it grows, the hungrier it becomes. Eventually, it can no longer contain its hunger, and it makes its way to a city called Guadalajara.

There, it begins attacking people, infecting them with a strange virus that causes them to behave like zombies. Their appearance changes as their bodies morph into alien-like, yet lifeless creatures.
