Bound to the Fallen

Civilization is shrinking. Trapped between endless monster waves, and a fading System, only three Great Races remain. The only way to fight back is to gain a Class, but the System doesn't have enough magic for everyone.

The Races found another, dangerous way.

Classes can be gained by enslaving monsters and magical beasts, forcing bonds upon them and draining them of their magic. It corrupts the mind and soul, rotting society from the inside and accelerating the fall, but it's a price many choose to pay so that their loved ones may see another sunrise.

In this world, the idea of a willing bond between equals sounds utterly absurd.

That's where I come in.

My name is Sol. After being given a second chance at life, I sacrificed everything to save an angel and a demon from a fate worse than death. I didn't ask for anything in return, either.

It all started with me telling them a story, about my old life in a spaceship. It ended with us sharing a bond so powerful it could shake the whole world, two new Great Races, and a struggle to uncover the secrets behind their ancient fall from grace.

To do that, we will have to find a way to revive a dying System and save the world before civilization went extinct.
