This is only a sample of my draft for my story that I am writing. I am planning on rewriting this story entirely into a different setup, but I would still like people to be able to read the original plan for what would hopefully become a published series. An internal voice whispered, "Call him." But I chose not to. I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway." Yet the dilemma lingered. "But maybe he does. The way he looks at you... it's different." Out of nowhere, he glanced my way. My heartbeat quickened, sending shivers down my spine. I averted my gaze, pretending to look around. "Has he noticed me? No, wait-oh my god." --- After switching high schools, Nina discovered a new way of life. She fell in love, made wonderful friends, and everything seemed perfect. He hummed at my lack of response. His grip on my neck relaxed slightly but he didn't let go. His eyes dropped to my lips and I remembered what it felt like when he kissed me. REWRITE IS UP NOW ANd is way better seriously. Taking a shortcut was the most life-changing decision Rosalie had ever made. One large demon cat later, she's whisked away by two knights to a separate realm because of her violet eyes and striking resemblance to their long lost princess. Ro is shoved into a life of magic, with duties to her kingdom and people piled on top. Duties, like being forced to attend the most elite school in the realm for young knights in training. But with her newfound strength and political influence comes death threats and assassination attempts from an unseen enemy. Rosalie juggles everything in her new life, hoping that she'll one day be the ruler she knows her kingdom deserves. This story has been one I've bounced around my head for years now, and I've finally written it out. You could say this is a labor of love. And pain. And caffeine. So much caffeine.
