One grew up hearing of a heroic legacy, the other grew up alongside that same name of bravery and courage.

Different eras, different wars - shared hopelessness, shared confusion. Two lives forever changed as they closed their eyes to the twentieth century and awoke in a modern, unfamiliar world. Between choosing to live in the shadows or igniting a bright light for the future to follow, Julia Lacey and James Buchanan Barnes wound up with the chance to redefine their identities.

How the world portrays those in twisted perspectives is something they must break free from. Forcing a detachment from their old lives means starting a redemption. It's as simple as that.
