My inspiration for this story came from my admiration for the beauty of Japanese historical culture, particularly the traditions of ancient Japan, as well as films and games. I have tried my best to be historically and culturally respectful and accurate. I mean no disrespect, and I hope this story honors the rich culture that inspired it.
