His lips hovered near her temple, his breath warm."What I feel for you," he whispered, "is far more dangerous."

Naina's pulse hammered. She tried to step sideways, but his other arm lifted instantly, blocking her completely. The wall behind her chilled her spine; the man in front of her set her skin on fire.

He dipped his head slightly, eyes dragging over her face, down to her neck, then lower... to the suit she wore.

A slow, humorless breath left him."Make-up." His jaw flexed."Mascara. Lip tint."

His breath warmed her cheek."You don't wear this for me, but you wore it to walk around outside?"
