Twelve-year old Mateo Rhee lives in a perfect, orderly society, built after the Chaotic Chrimodium Wars. However, daily struggles in school takes a deadly turn when Teo finds a device no one was supposed to find; now Teo and his new best-friend, Evan, have to navigate their way outside the walls of the secure nation of Aska.
With his newfound powers, Teo discovers dystopian cities, deadly allies, and the most dangerous threat of all: a mysterious figure clad in bandages, plotting for a dangerous return to power.
Can Teo and his friends defeat what is truly evil and finally bring the peace the world has long deserved? Or is it too much for them to even survive, as the fugitives they are?
