Rules of creating a fictional character
1. Never base them entirely on your real-life first love.
2. Never leave their character arc in destruction.
3. Pray they never manifest in your living room.

I broke every single one of those rules.

A year ago, I stopped writing and left my main character stranded in his own misery. Now, Ryui is standing right in front of me. He is throwing actual punches, fake crying to manipulate me, and demanding a rewritten fate. He looks like a prince, but I know exactly what kind of toxic villain I wrote him to be.

When threatening me doesn't work, he tries a different approach. He gives himself thirty days to make me fall for him, knowing I can't easily resist the face I used to adore.

He wants a happy ending, but I already promised myself I would never write again. Who will give in first?
