Nyx is from the roughest part of Gotham, the part where people start to try to become villains. She protects the kids, and eventually the bats found out, they let her train with them.

She became aquaintences with Damian Wayne Al-Ghoul after one of the villains attacked their middle school. She had dragged him to safety. As this was before he was allowed to be Robin.

Now she's in Paris at the request of the blood-heir. With one goal, protect Marinette, by extension destroying lila. And with Lady Gotham watching over her? What could go wrong.

And more importantly, she liked the idea of finally riding her garden of weeds.
