The girl with a box around her

Naomi has always felt the box around her.
Not a real box - not one made of cardboard or paper. This box is invisible, but it's heavy. It follows her everywhere, built from the words people expect her to be.
Pretty.
Skinny.
Dance.
Ballet.
Everyone thinks Naomi fits perfectly inside those words.
But Naomi doesn't want ballet shoes or perfect pirouettes. She doesn't want to stay inside the box everyone has built for her.
Naomi wants a basketball in her hands, trainers on her feet, and the freedom to choose who she becomes.
