"You look beautiful tonight," he said, voice like warm smoke--soft, but thick with something deeper. "Just like I always pictured you... right here, in my space. Where you belong."

I shifted, a flicker of defiance flashing in my eyes. "Stay awa--"

"Shh, baby." He cut me off with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "I'm not done yet."

"I'll give you the world. Wrap it in silk, tie it with a bow, and lay it at your feet. All you have to do is stay." His fingers slid slowly up my thighs. "But you won't leave. You can't. This isn't a choice anymore. You belong to me, heart, body, and soul. Every inch of you is mine."

He leaned in, brushing his lips against mine--barely touching, yet burning.

"You're mine, Aria. Say it. Accept it. Breathe it. Whisper it, or just think it--I don't care. I'll hear it anyway."
