Feelings From Another Time: A Poetry Anthology

A collection of poetry from various times in my life. Some of them are hopeful. Some of them are sad. Some of them are angry. Some of them are from periods of time that I barely remember, lost in the waves of a mental health condition that clouded all memories.
I usually write what makes me happy. But sometimes I write because I have to, because there are feelings inside me that need to go somewhere. This is the very vulnerable, exposed part of my being. It's unlike what I usually write.
I hope you find it interesting.

If you're not okay with that then I suggest you leave. Fair warning, this story is really poorly written. It's filled with plot holes, grammar errors, and everything else under the sun that makes a bad story. It pains me to reread it but it's like my own writing history so I don't want to take it down. After his father left and his mother became an alcoholic, he took it upon himself to take care of his younger sister, Abby. Doing two part jobs, keeping his grades up, maintaining his position as captain of the swim team, and coming home in time to read Abby a bed time story every night, he's exhausted. He doesn't have time for romance, nor does he have the energy. That is, until, he meets Xavier Alexander. Xavier is content with his life, or so he tells himself. He's a jolly, outgoing and loud mess of a person who has a wonderful girlfriend, amazing friends, loving parents, a cool sister and average grades, but he stills feels like his life is incomplete. However, he thinks it's just a teenage phase, and takes a job at a local pizzeria to kill his boredom. And then he meets Axel Clark. Ronan Hastings thought in lists. Depending on who you asked, this might be called a strategy, a shortcoming, a merit, or a crutch. Maybe even a coping mechanism. If he had to make a list to sum up his life at the moment, it would look something like this: 1. He was one of six in a group of thieves, and a good one at that. 2. He only had four friends in the world. 3. He was probably in love, and it didn't feel good. 4. Stealing didn't feel too good anymore, either, but he didn't have anything else. 5. He was the type of person others cared for enough to make promises to, but never enough to keep them. 6. There was something about the newest member of their team that he couldn't bring himself to trust.Lengkap

Vic (20) is being sent to a mental institution and is not happy about it. Its for his own good, so his family says. There's so many things that's wrong with him, but doesn't want to believe it. When he's roommates with Kellin (18), a boy who doesn't like to talk to anyone, and is isolated and closed off, spends most of his time drawing; Vic doesn't know what's wrong with his roommate, he simply thinks that Kellin's insane, and that he doesn't belong with someone like Kellin. Vic doesn't think he needs to be in that place at all. But they are forced to spend time with each other. Until the two boys make an unlikely connection they never saw coming. Warnings: I'm saying this now, and it goes toward the entire story; there are going to be a lot of references to suicide and self harm and other mental illnesses and things associated with them so if that makes you uncomfortable then don't read.
