Nina Hodges is a normal 12 year old girl, except she has some special 'talents'. She can communicate with dolls. She knows what they are feeling, what they are saying, and many fear and disrespect her for it.
When she is adopted by the band, twenty one pilots, she doesn't hesitate to show them her talents. They are amazed with her abilities.
Soon after, many people go missing, and Nina begins acquiring some new dolls from 'The face in the window.'
Nina will soon have to face a difficult choice. Will she choose her home, or her family?
