Not quite Carlos

Even after infection, Carlos wouldn't leave Jill behind, carrying her to safety. He got the vaccine for her and made sure she was okay.
And Jill didn't plan on leaving him behind. Not even when the undead rotting smell already began clinging to his skin.
She would find another vaccine for him, no matter what, dragging a zombie along she should've accepted as gone.
If this was another nightmare, it felt much more real than any other ever had.
