Beyond the Wardrobe Doors - Caspian X

In Britain in 1940, four children and their mother are sleeping in their house when they are awoken to the sounds of sirens wailing, planes flying overhead, and bombs dropping all around them. After an extremely close call for her two sons, Mrs. Pevensie decides to send her children to the countryside to stay with Professor Digory Kirk and his housekeeper, Mrs. Macready, in an effort to keep them safe. It is on the way there that they meet another young girl, Charlotte Evans, and learn that she, too, was sent by her father to the countryside for the same reason as the Pevensies. In the house, the five children discover a magical wardrobe with endless possibilities lying beyond the old wooden doors, and together, they experience an adventure unlike anything they could have ever dreamed.
