Arika, a brilliant scientist, works tirelessly in her family's laboratory, developing a groundbreaking serum capable of altering human memory. Her husband, Vincenzo, now the CEO of her family's corporation, oversees the business side of their empire. On the surface, they appear to be the perfect partnership, balancing corporate power with scientific genius. But cracks are already showing: Arika suffers from severe headaches, memory lapses, and hallucinations, which she manages with pills that may not always be harmless. Their young son, too, shows strange, unexplained symptoms. As Arika dives deeper into her research, fleeting, distorted memories begin to resurface-memories that hint something is fundamentally wrong with her life. Beneath the facade of normalcy, the truth is already clawing its way through her fractured mind, and it will shatter everything she believes about her family, her work, and the man she trusts most.

A slow smirk curved his lips - not warm, not kind... the kind that made the air feel thinner. "Scared?" he said quietly, almost amused. "You should be." Her breath hitched. "I'm not going to hurt you," he continued, voice low and controlled, "unless you give me a reason to."
