About a 31 year old who joins the guild at the wrong time, meet Galaad Hearst who was just recovered from confinement after he caught a rare condition called "mana occlusion" where flow of mana isn't distributed to designated parts of the body. This is from his mining job back when he is just 18 years old and became bedridden at 21 years old. Still even after 1 decade of recovering, he wants to experience the life of adventuring but will he last long in the journey? Time will tell.
