"You know," The man across from me sighs "Most people stay dead when I kill them."

I tilt my head slightly--my bored gaze tracking over the same concrete ceiling again "That sounds like a you problem."

His pale blue flames flicker faintly in the dim cell, illuminating the crooked grin slowly pulling at his stitched mouth.

"...Yeah," He murmurs.

"It kinda is."

Prison isn't where most people expect to find love.

Then again, when you have a habit of getting back up after being killed, normal expectations stop applying--frankly, a graveyard would've been the more logical option.

Unfortunately for (Y/n), dying has never been particularly easy.

Which becomes a bit of a problem when she finds herself locked inside a cell beside a man who seems determined to prove otherwise.

And as if that wasn't inconvenient enough, their quiet little corner of iron bars and bad decisions gains another resident not long after--a sharp-eyed stranger with clipped wings and far too much curiosity for someone behind bars.

Three prisoners.

Three very different reasons for being there.

And far too much time to start asking questions that perhaps should have been left alone.

Because sometimes the people thrown together inside a cage aren't meant to stay there.. And sometimes the world outside has a long list of things waiting to be settled.
